10 Jazz Rock Fusion Licks in C minor
Published on 09 February 2016
One of my viewers (shoutout to andrulin1) suggested that I create a video with some jazz fusion licks so I sat down and wrote 10 of them with some of my favorites concepts in display. The purpose of this video is to give watchers an idea on how to apply certain concepts that they might already know but haven't been able to apply just yet or to just plain old learn some cool new licks. In the creation of these licks I used the minor pentatonic scale, the melodic minor scale, the dorian scale, the dorian b9 scale, the whole tone scale, the diminished scale as well as some pentatonic substitutions and tension building concepts and others.
