11 C Minor Blues Licks with Tabs - And How to Play Over a Minor Key 12-Bar Blues
Published on 13 February 2017
In this lesson,I cover 11 licks that can be played over a C Minor 12 Bar Blues. All of the licks are ogranized into a 12-bar blues solo, so you can see how to apply these licks over the different chord changes.
For each lick, I talk about proper technique and playing details, but also cover the theory. I discuss the underlying chords for each lick, and talk about why the lick works over the chord. So, in addition to the licks, you are going to learn all of the key concepts you'll need to make your own licks.
Some licks are easy, and some are advanced. Don't be discouraged if you can't play some of these. The important part is to understand the underlying principles. And, you can always take a difficult lick, and simplify it so it fits your style and level of playing.
Enjoy these licks! Thanks for watching!
