Blues Rhythm Lesson: Big Boss Man, Funky Blues
Published on 18 January 2016
http://bluesguitarunleashed.com - This video is a funky version of Big Boss Man as I often see it done (poorly) at local blues jams.
The key to this groove is the steady right hand and subdividing the 1/16th notes so that they don't sound like fast 1/8th notes.
As always, count out loud until you've really got the feel for it and just keep practicing it until it's comfortable enough that you can play this groove while you talk to a friend and carry on a conversation.
