Alternating Bass is a technique that you simply must become comfortable with if you want to pick some sweet country blues.
If you'd like to hear what alternate bass sounds like be sure to check out country pickers like Etta Baker and Mississippi John Hurt. There style is almost exclusively alternating bass.
And it's incredibly fun to play.
So in Tuesday Blues 74, we'll take a look at a couple of exercises taken from BGI's Premium Course called, Morning Cup.
