How to Snap a Bass String |Tuesday Blues Lesson #008

There are few guitar techniques that are more fun than snapping a bass string. It's got a real aggressive sound that is incredibly bluesy.
In this lesson, we'll take a close look at the technique by learning a nice bluesy lick in E.

As I cover in the video, even though this sounds like you are about to rip the string right off the guitar, it actually takes very little attack on the string. The trick is to push the string out rather than with a downward motion.
