So much of what we do on the guitar is built from these tiny little movements. Very repetitive little movements that are almost automatic for many of the great blues pickers. And as guitarists, we love breaking things down into patterns.
In this lesson, I'll take you through the construction of a solid, fundamental picking pattern that you can use in your Piedmont Style Blues. There's definitely more decoration that you can add to this piece, but spend some time with this fundamental pattern to the point that it's absolutely automatic.
Hard practice on patterns like this will make almost everything that you do after it, so much easier.
